HD Video
HD video has about 2.1 millions pixels per frame. This is loads more than standard definition content and hence the reason HDTV images look so much better than stand definition images.
Ther HD images displayed by a HDTV projector are made up from either 720 or 1080 horizonal lines. This is compared to the 400-500 lines available with standard definition. This makes HDTV images much crisper than standard definition content.
HDTV LCD Projectors
Today's video projectors are now shockingly inexpensive and offer an outstanding picture quality. Installation of a video projector is a simple with no special skill or training required. Next time you wish that you TV was that little bit bigger consider about jumping up to the extremely large screen experience you can have in your front room with a video projector.
An LCD projector is a type of video projector for displaying video, images or computer data on a screen, wall or other flat surface. It is a modern analogue of the slide projector or overhead projector.
Traditionally video projectors used to be large noisy and expensive. But in recent years projectors have overcome these problems and are now as affordable as ever. More and more people are buying video projectors for their front room or home cinema as an alternative to a flat screen TV.
HD Camcorder
So you've looking at HDTV projectors and thinking now would be a good time to upgrade you standard definition camcorder to a new HD camcorder?High-definition video yields a better-quality image than standard definition does. This is becuase HD has a greater number of lines of resolution. The visual information is some 2-5 times sharper because the gaps between the scan lines are narrower or invisible to the naked eye.
More and more video sources are now available in HD. High definition DVD players such as Blu-ray, the newer games consoles are viewable in high definition and there are now a range of HD camcorders available for purchase.
HD camcorders allow the recording of home videos in High definition format. HD camcorders are able to record 1080 horizontal lines of an image and offer a huge increase in image quality compared to camcorders that can only record in standard definition.
HD camcorders are similar in appearance to standard camcorders and are no biger or heavier. They just have a higher quality sensors inside them allowing the recording of video images in high definition.
As more and more televisions and projectors are able to display video in HD it seems to logical choice to choose a hd camcorder to record you home movies on.
